An 89-year-old man from the Campbellsport area died when his ultralight aircraft crashed in the middle of a cornfield in the area of Townhall Road and Highway 45 in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Auburn last night. The Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports at 8:31 pm. An additional witness called 911 and indicated they had located the small aircraft and the pilot in the middle of a cornfield.
