8/11/24 Second Person of Interest in Oshkosh Stabbing Death in Custody

Oshkosh Police have a second person of interest in custody in a stabbing death that occurred in the city over the weekend. Police say thanks to a tip from the public at 3:38 this morning, 23-year-old Sybastain Crossman (pictured) of Oshkosh was taken into custody without incident at a local residence where he was reported to be hiding out. He was wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the 500 Block of High Avenue Saturday morning. Police responded and learned a physical altercation had occurred between several individuals known to each other. A 20-year-old Oshkosh man had been stabbed. He was taken to a hospital where he died. A 22-year-old Oshkosh man involved in the disturbance was taken into custody. Crossman was the second person of interest they were looking for in connection with the stabbing.
