8/4/24 Motorcyclist Eludes FDL County Sheriff’s Deputies

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a motorcyclist they believe evaded them twice Saturday after deputies tried to pull the bike over for speeding violations. Just after 7 pm a deputy tried to stop the biker on State Highway 175 northbound near Fox Ridge Drive in the Town of Fond du Lac. The motorcycle increased its speed to 130 miles an hour during one point of the 6-mile pursuit. A deputy’s squad car dash camera got images of the motorcycle which is similar to a Yamaha MT-09, black in color with red accents and red/orange rims. The operator was wearing dark clothing, a dark-colored helmet and a backpack. It is believed the same motorcycle eluded a deputy at County Highways F and W in the Town of Eden about 1 pm Saturday afternoon.
