Representatives of Fond du Lac County, in partnership with the Ripon Noon and Early Bird Kiwanis Club are excited to announce the grand opening of the All-Inclusive Playground at Riggs County Park on Douglas Street.
On Saturday, July 13th, at 11am, the County and the Kiwanis Clubs will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new playground at Riggs Park, which features play equipment suitable for children of all abilities, with a poured, rubber safety surface. The playground is a new addition to Riggs Park, sitting adjacent to the Splash Pad; which was also a project of the Ripon Noon Kiwanis.
Representatives of the Fond du Lac County Parks Department and Ripon Kiwanis Clubs will be serving up free hotdogs and Ice Cream throughout the morning and while supplies last; and children will have the opportunity to make use of both the Splash Pad and Playground.
