TIPS LEAD TO ARRESTS IN GREEN LAKE COUNTY TRUCK THEFT

The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office was able to make an arrest in a case involving the theft of a pickup truck last month. Chief Deputy Matt Vande Kolk says they posted the information on Facebook along with a photo of the older truck that was stolen from the area of County Highway F in the Town of Seneca. Someone recognized the truck and that led to a tip they could follow up and the arrest of two individuals. Vande Kolk says a good relationship between the community and the Sheriff’s Office has prevented other crimes and kept the roads safer. The information about the truck was posted as part of the Green Lake County Crime Stoppers program. The program leads to anonymous tips and offers a possible reward for that information. If you see or know something about a crime you can call the Green Lake County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-GET-THEM, that’s 1-800-438-8436.
