4/1/24 Fatal Accident in Winnebago County

The driver and sole occupant of a vehicle died following a crash in Winnebago County’s Town of Nepeuskun Saturday morning. Sheriff’s officials say the accident happened at County Road M and Osborne Road. It was reported shortly before 10 am. When law enforcement and first responders arrived they found the driver unconscious and they provided life-saving-measures. The driver was taken to a hospital where they died of their injuries. Sheriff’s deputies, Town of Utica Fire Department, Town of Utica First Responder, Ripon Paramedic Unit, Berlin Fire Department, and Oshkosh Fire Paramedic Unit responded to the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
