3/3/24 FDL County Traffic Stop Nets Four Arrests

Four Milwaukee men were arrested on weapons charges during a traffic stop on Interstate 41 near Lost Arrow Road in Fond du Lac County early Saturday morning. Their vehicle was going over 100 miles an hour. They told Sheriff’s deputies they were “headed to Fond du Lac to party” and were armed with three handguns, one of which was reported stolen out of Georgia. Charges of possession of a stolen firearm and carrying a concealed weapon are being referred against all four men. Three of the men are 20 years old, including the driver who faces additional charges of operating while intoxicated and operating after suspension. One of the 20-year-old passengers and a 23-year-old passenger have previous criminal history. The older passenger was also placed on a probation hold. Sheriff’s officials say the firearms will be tested to determine if they are linked to any other criminal investigations. (Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s photo).
