17 February 2024 News

GREEN LAKE, WI, — Embrace the leap year with bingo night at Town Square Community Center in downtown Green Lake. This year’s special Leap Year Bingo is set to take place on Saturday, February 24. The doors will open and concessions will start at 5:00 p.m., with card sales beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the first game kicking off at 6:30 p.m.

The evening consists of 13 games, including speedy bingo and a progressive blackout. The progressive jackpot is $500 plus half of the night’s progressive sales if bingo is called within 49 numbers or less.

“Spring is showing signs of coming early, and we’re thrilled to see everyone at Leap Year Bingo.,” Zoe Neimuth, Program Coordinator stated.  “It’s a great time to shake off the cold, meet up, and have some fun.”

Concessions will be available for purchase, including Sheboygan hot dogs, chips, beer, and wine. Carry-ins are prohibited. Attendees are highly encouraged to arrive early to find their preferred seats before the games begin. Minors are welcome to play Bingo in Wisconsin but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Bingo takes place at Town Square on the last Saturday of every month. Proceeds from the bingo games support Town Square, an award-winning community center located in the historic county courthouse buildings in the heart of downtown Green Lake. The mission of Town Square Community Center is to enrich the lives of the Green Lake community members, family, and friends by providing cultural, social, recreational, educational, and economic opportunities for people of all ages, while preserving our treasured historic building. Town Square is operated by Green Lake Renewal, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
