GREEN LAKE, WI, — Progressive jackpot winner, Karen Brooks of Winneconne, went home with an impressive $3,892.50 in prize money at last month’s New Year’s Bingo at Town Square, ringing in the new year with much excitement. This month’s Bingo, on Saturday, January 27, is Blizzard themed, just in time for the recent wintery weather. Doors open and concessions begin at 5:00 p.m., card sales start at 5:30 p.m., and the games commence at 6:30 p.m.
The evening consists of 13 games, including speedy bingo and a progressive blackout. The progressive jackpot is $500 if Bingo is called in 48 numbers or less.
“We love being able to offer a fun activity during these chilly winter months,” Kris Anderson, Executive Director stated. “It’s a fun night for the whole family.”
Concessions will be available for purchase, including Sheboygan hot dogs, chips, beer, and wine. Carry-ins are prohibited. Attendees are highly encouraged to arrive early to find their preferred seats before the games begin. Minors are welcome to play Bingo in Wisconsin but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Bingo takes place at Town Square on the last Saturday of every month. Proceeds from the bingo games support Town Square, an award-winning community center located in the historic county courthouse buildings in the heart of downtown Green Lake. The mission of Town Square Community Center is to enrich the lives of the Green Lake community members, family, and friends by providing cultural, social, recreational, educational, and economic opportunities for people of all ages, while preserving our treasured historic building.
