Ripon Man Sentenced On Drug Charges

A 23-year-old Ripon man was recently sentenced in Fond du Lac County court for running a meth lab and exposing himself. Kyle Erdmann entered “no contest” pleas to methamphetamine trafficking, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and exposure charges. In addition to those three charges 17 others were read into the record and dismissed. The charges stemmed from three separate cases. According to the criminal complaint Erdmann’s grandmother called police and told them he was no longer allowed to stay at her apartment. Police recognized signs of a meth lab at the apartment. Judge Gary Sharpe sentenced Erdmann to two years in prison and three years of extended supervision. Erdmann was also sentenced to a year a piece of prison and extended supervision on the maintaining a drug place and exposure charges, but they were to run concurrent to his other sentence.
