1/12/24 Winter Storm and Blizzard Warnings

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for nearly the entire state, except the corner of Northwestern Wisconsin which has its own Winter Weather advisories. The Warning is in effect until Noon on Saturday. Snow totals will range from 7 to 13 inches with winds gusting up to 40 miles an hour. Blowing snow will reduce visibility and make traveling difficult. A Blizzard Warning has also been issued for Brown, Calumet, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Outagamie, and Winnebago counties from 3 pm this afternoon to Noon on Saturday. Snow totals for the Blizzard Warning range from 10 to 15 inches of snow with wind gusting as high as 50 miles an hour. You can find cancellations at Hometown Broadcasting.com under the Weather tab. WAUPUN SNOW EMERGENCY
For the second time this week Waupun Mayor Rohn Bishop has declared a snow emergency in the City of Waupun the snow emergency is in effect from noon today through noon on Sunday. During a snow emergency, parking is prohibited at all times on the south side, east side and southeast side of all streets in the City, except for portions of streets located near commercial districts.
