1/6/24 Name Released in Waupun Death Investigation

Waupun Police have released the name of the 74-year-old man found dead in a residence in the 100 block of West Brown Street Thursday morning. Police and EMS responded after receiving a report that a man inside the residence was dead. When officers entered the home, they found Paul Abresch Sr deceased. The Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene. During the preliminary investigation, investigators determined the death was suspicious in nature. The Wisconsin Department of Justice State Crime Laboratory was contacted to assist in processing the scene.
