The Ripon Common Council will get a couple of updates during its meeting tonight. Ripon Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jason Mansmith will update the Council on the room tax that was received last year and how it was spent. More than $80,000 was received last year with most of it going to the Chamber, Ripon Main Street, and the Little White Schoolhouse for promotions. Ripon Main Street Executive Director Craig Tebon will also update the Council. He will inform them how Business Improvement District money has been spent over the last 10 years. The meeting is at 7 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
