Strong women throughout history had a “voice.” They followed their passions even in the face of adversity, segregation and obstacles. Feel confident in speaking your “voice” and learn how to find your most powerful voice through vocal exercises and techniques. Join Tami as you find your true “voice”.
Join Professional Women’s Connection on Thursday, October 18th at Tuscumbia Country Club, 680 Illinois Ave, Green Lake, WI., as Tami Rens will teach you how to find your true ‘’voice’’. Cocktails and networking will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:00 and program beginning about 6:45 p.m.
Tami Rens has more than 25 years’ experience as a radio broadcaster. She has worked at over 10 radio stations throughout her career including; WCWC/WYUR,WFON,KFIZ,WOZZ-CLASSIC ROCK,SUNNY 97-7,WBJZ-JAZZ, WISS/WAUH,Along with a syndicated jazz show online from Puerto Rico at Jazz and Bossa Radio. Tami currently works at WAUH-THE BUG, a local radio station in the area. She is a co-host on Retro mornings with Wayne Mausser. She has interviewed many jazz musicians and artists and has collaborated with her friend and jazz artist Janet Planet. She’s produced voice overs and a couple of local TV spots. Tami’s greatest thrill is empowering women and helping them find their most confident voice. Tami enjoys spending time with her 2 children and grandchildren. Tami is developing projects that she hopes will empower and help people through the power of “voice.”

Member and college student (with student ID) cost for the event is $20 and non-member cost is $25 —both payable at the door. The menu will include an entrée choice of, option #1 Grilled chicken breast avocado (Pico de Gallo), option #2 Bacon wrapped pork medallions w/bourbon maple glaze. Both options come with twice baked potato, green beans with almonds, soup & salad bar, and dessert. Please give your entrée choice at time of reservation. Vegetarian or dietary restrictions will be accommodated upon request when making the reservation.
Professional Women’s Connection is a networking group and provides educational opportunities for area business and professional women, focusing on professional growth, personal development and the enhancement of leadership skills. Professional Women’s Connection is not a fundraising organization. The money for the annual scholarship comes from member dues, allowing current members to give back to the next generation of professional women. Those interested in joining Professional Women’s Connection are welcome to attend as a guest prior to joining the organization.
