Senator Johnson On Kavanaugh Hearings
21 September 2018 News
US Senator Ron Johnson says Democrats shouldn’t have permitted the name of a woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault to be released. The federal lawmaker from Oshkosh feels Christine Blasey Ford’s identity should have been protected, but it was leaked to the media. He says that should have been brought forward as soon as Senator (Dianne) Feinstein had that information, now she didn’t have to talk about the name, but she certainly should have made Senate Judiciary Chairman (Chuck) Grassley aware of that and then they could have worked together to protect the identity of Dr. Blasey Ford.” Johnson says Kavanaugh certainly has the credentials with 12 years in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and more than 300 decisions.
