UPDATE:
Minutes after a Silver Alert was issued yesterday for a missing 62-year-old Fond du Lac man he was found safe. James Fruehauf was found walking near U.S. Highway 151 on the eastside of Fond du Lac. Police say he had left his living facility at the Berry House on 6th Street at 7:12 in the morning to go for a walk, which he has never done before. He was heading east on 6th Street and took an unknown direction from there. He told another resident not to worry about where he was going. James does not have any family locally and the Silver Alert was issued late in the morning. Shortly afterwards he was found. Police issued a physical description, photo of him, and described what he was wearing when he went for the walk.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 62-year-old Fond du Lac man. Fond du Lac Police say James Fruehauf left his living facility at the Berry House on 6th Street at 7:12 this morning to go for a walk, which he has never done before. James does not have any family locally and it is unknown where he would go. James is 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighs 210 pounds. He has blue eyes and blond or strawberry colored hair that is short on the sides and bald down the middle. He is white, and has a kink in his neck so his head tilts to the front right. He wears glasses and was last wearing a tan Carhartt zip up jacket with dark blue jeans, and gray tennis shoes with white bottoms. He had on a black winter hat and black gloves.
