One person was killed and another injured when a car struck a semi-tractor trailer truck on State Highway 175 at Fox Ridge Drive near Fond du Lac Saturday afternoon. The State Patrol tells us the semi was backing into a driveway when a car struck it and got pinner under the trailer. The car’s driver died at the scene and a passenger was flow to a trauma center with critical injuries. The semi driver was not injured. The State Patrol was assisted by Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies, the County Medical Examiner, Fond du Lac Police, Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue, and ThedaStar. The crash was reported just before 5 pm.
