11/16/23 Ripon College Choral Union and Orchestra to Perform Sunday

RIPON — Choral Union, orchestra will perform Sunday, Nov. 19. The Ripon College Choral Union and Orchestra will perform at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on campus.  Admission is free and open to the public.

Choral Union, which includes both students and community members, will perform “The Last Words of David,” by Randall Thompson; “Wedding Cantata,” by Daniel Pinkham; and “My Heart is Indicting” from “Coronation Anthems,” by George Frideric Handel.

Soloists will be Linda Glaubitz DeCramer ’89 of Princeton, Wisconsin, and RJ Olson ’24 of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The conductor is Paul Thompson, assistant professor of music, and the accompanist is Deb MacKenzie. Instructor of music.

Orchestra will perform “Russian Sailors’ Dance” from “The Red Poppy,” by Reinhold Glière; and “Suite from Carmen,” by Gorges Bizet.

The conductor is Yukiko Grine, adjunct instructor of music.
