9/11/23 SSM Health FDL Regional Clinic Welcomes New Pediatrician in Ripon

The SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, 835 Parkside Street, Ripon, is welcoming Andrea Aul, MD, a pediatrician. She will begin seeing patients on September 11.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Aul provides preventive health services for healthy children, as well as medical care for children who are acutely or chronically ill.
A graduate of the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, Dr. Aul completed her pediatric and adolescent medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Aul is looking forward to returning home to provide pediatric services.
“Growing up in Ripon, I saw firsthand the important role clinicians play in the well-being of members of a small town,” Dr. Aul says. “Therefore, I was inspired early on to pursue primary care. In addition, I have the privilege to care for children who have acute and chronic illnesses and support their needs from infancy through young adulthood.”
Dr. Aul, and her husband, Bryce, have relocated to the Ripon area. Dr. Bryce Aul will be providing ophthalmology services at the SSM Health Eye Care location in Waupun.
Her medical training has centered on the value that the best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered. “I carry this commitment with me in my practice,” according to Dr. Aul. “Additionally, I recognize that each patient and family have unique circumstances and strengths that help me tailor my care to their needs. I approach each patient with curiosity, a desire to collaborate, and a dedication to evidence-based practices.”
Dr. Aul advocates not only for her patients’ needs, but also those of the community. “I believe in working toward access to health care for all,” she explains. “The field of pediatrics is always changing, which inspires me to keep expanding my knowledge and honing my skills.”
Dr. Aul enjoys being active outdoors, especially running, swimming, and cross-country skiing and playing disc golf and pickleball. Dr. Aul and her husband are fond of exploring beautiful hiking trails and learning new board games.
When Dr. Aul starts in September, she will work closely with Jeanne Lyke, MD, an SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic pediatrician, as Dr. Lyke begins to prepare for retirement in spring 2024 after serving the Ripon area for more than 30 years.
