The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man at a Waupun residence Friday night. Sheriff’s officials say just before 7:30 pm Waupun Police were dispatched to the first hundred block of West Brown Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. The initial investigation shows before officers arrived on the scene a man involved in the domestic disturbance took his own life. No officers were involved with the death and no other persons were physically injured. The scene was secured for the investigation. Because the death occurred during a police investigation, the Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death with the Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation and the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office assisting.
