6/24/23 Child Struck by Vehicle in FDL

Fond du Lac Police say a 7-year-old child suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in the city shortly before 6:30 Friday night. It happened in the 500 block of East Pioneer Road when the boy tried to cross the street and was hit by a westbound vehicle. The boy was flown to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. The 53-year-old Fond du Lac resident driving the vehicle that hit the child was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
