5/21/23 Markesan Man Injured When Motorcycle Hits Farm Equipment

A 42-year-old Markesan man suffered life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle hit a forage wagon being pulled by a farm tractor in Dodge County Saturday afternoon. Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say it happened on Jersey Road near Breezy Point Road in the Town of Trenton just before 2:30 pm. The farm tractor was pulling a forage wagon southbound on Jersey Road when it began to turn left into a farm driveway. The motorcyclist was attempting to pass the farm equipment when his bike hit the forage wagon. He was wearing a helmet but suffered life-threatening injuries. He was flown to the UW-Hospital in Madison. The 38-year-old Waupun man operating the farm tractor was not injured.
