5/6/23 Two Hurt in Columbia County Accident

Columbia County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to State Highway 33 at Krueger Road in the Town of Randolph late Friday morning after a box truck hit a bridge abutment and rolled down a steep embankment to the railroad bed below. The two people in the truck were able to exit it under their own power. They were treated medically and transported to a local hospital. State Highway 33 was closed between State Highway 73 and Highway 146 while crews cleared the roadway. A 911 call reported the accident at 11:08 am.
