The Fond du Lac Public Library, Climb Theater, and the ADRC of Fond du Lac County have partnered to host the intergenerational play “Grandpa and Lucy”.
The performance will be live at the Fond du Lac Public Library in the McLane Room (Lower Level) Tuesday June 20th, 2023. Doors open at 5:00pm with the performance time 5:30pm-6:30pm.
This play was inspired by the children’s book written by Edie Weinstein, Grandpa and Lucy: A Story About Love & Dementia, which helps kids and families strengthen intergenerational relationships with older relatives who may be struggling with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. This is a great community opportunity with a talkback following the performance to address any questions/concerns. Prior to the performance fun snacks and beverages will be provided as well as some information on local resources. For additional details see the attached flyer. This event is free and is great for an intergenerational audience, ages 5 and up.
