Aaron Rodgers told the Pat McAfee show that he wants to play for the Jets after highly considering retirement.  The only thing holding that up is the Packers and Jets agreeing on trade compensation.  Negotiations are ongoing. Rodgers says he initially thought mostly about retirement. He says the decision in his mind came late last week. Rodgers says he is thankful to Green Bay and Packer fans, now he waits for his chance to play for the Jets. Green Bay and the Jets still have to work out details of a trade.

The Packers made some free agent moves Wednesday signing All-Pro Kick Returner and Cornerback Keisean Nixon and Tight End Tyler Davis to contracts keeping both in Green Bay. Nixon signed a one-year-contract. He led the league in kickoff return returns averaging 28.8 yards per return and took one 105 yards for a score against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17. Davis mostly played on special teams. Over the last two seasons he caught eight passes for 61 yards in 31 regular-season appearances for the Packers.

Ripon College Wednesday announced that Christopher Schumacher has been selected as its next athletic director. He will assume his duties June 1. Steve Wammer, associate director of athletics and head softball coach, will serve as the interim athletic director. Current athletic director Ryan Kane has been named athletic director for Carthage College, a role he assumes April 1. You can read more about Schumacher by clicking here.

After becoming the first team in the NBA to clinch a playoff spot following their win Tuesday, the Milwaukee Bucks return home tonight to host the visiting Indiana Pacers, who are chasing a play-in spot. On the second night of a road back-to-back, the Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns Tuesday 116-104 thanks in large part to a near triple-double from Giannis.

The Milwaukee Brewers game with the Arizona Diamondbacks Wednesday was cancelled due to rain. They will play the Angels today at American Family Fields in Phoenix.
