High Speed Chase In FDL County

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a harassment suspect after a high-speed chase Friday evening. Deputies were at the victim’s residence when the suspect’s vehicle went by. That led to a chase that covered six miles and ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed after hitting a stop sign at the intersection of Prairie Road and Hickory Road in the Town of Byron. The suspect allegedly was going nearly 100 miles an hour during the pursuit. He was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. No deputies were injured. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the pursuit and crash. The man was arrested on drunken driving and eluding an officer charges.
