7/5/22 Fatal Traffic Crash In Green Lake County

A 31-year-old man died after his vehicle crashed in a field near the intersection of Luedtke Road and Phelps Road in Green Lake County Sunday night. Sheriff’s officials got a 911 call about the accident at 10:14 pm. The driver was removed from the vehicle but died on the way to a hospital. The vehicle left the road on County Highway H near County Highway O. In addition to Sheriff’s deputies, Markesan Police, Markesan Fire Department, Markesan Emergency Management, and Southern Green Lake County EMS responded to the scene. The cause of death is still being determined.
