Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services Wednesday reported 1,173 new COVID-19 cases about 200 more cases than the day before. Still the 7-day average fell to 1,610 new cases a day down from 1,748 the day before. The positivity rate for all tests rose a bit to 13.1 percent. Nine deaths and 59 hospitalizations were also reported. The Wisconsin Hospital Association yesterday reported 391 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 58 of them in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 24 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday. Seventeen (17) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 15 new cases and 1 death. Green Lake County had 4 new cases, Waupaca County had 7 new cases and 1 death, and Waushara County had 3 new cases of the coronavirus.
