5/21/22 Town Square Tap Opens For Season

21 May 2022 News

GREEN LAKE, WI, — Town Square Tap, Green Lake’s favorite seasonal beer garden and bar, reopens for the 2022 season on Friday, May 27 at 3 p.m. Regular hours will be Thursday 5 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 3 to 10 p.m.

“We are thrilled to welcome back our friends for The Tap’s first full season under Town Square’s ownership,” said Dennis Orlov, hospitality manager at Town Square. “We have lots of great events planned and many new menu items to share.”

Town Square Community Center took over operations of The Tap on July 1, 2021. The Tap features a full bar including spirits, craft beers, local wines, and a spectacular setting with an indoor/outdoor space overlooking the Mill Pond. The Tap hosts weekly live music, art classes, club meetings and can be rented for private events.

Thursdays are “Barks & Brews” night when four-legged guests get the royal treatment on The Tap’s dog-friendly patio. Fridays feature live music provided by local and regional acts. Jeff Mueller the Music Man will be performing on The Tap’s opening night from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturdays are game nights with yard games available for casual tournaments.

Bucket Wings will again be operating out of Green Lake Kitchens, serving boneless wings with crazy and creative sauces during Tap hours, Thursday through Saturday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

All Town Square Tap proceeds benefit Town Square’s mission to enrich the lives of the Green Lake community members, family, and friends by providing cultural, social, recreational and educational opportunities for people of all ages.
