Wisconsin reached a three month high in new COVID-19 cases yesterday with nearly 2,600 new cases. That’s the most since February 8th and the 7-day rolling average for new cases of 1,963 is also the most in three months. The positivity rate for all tests now stands at nearly 25 (24.6) percent. The state’s Department of Health Services also reported 6 deaths and 38 hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 333 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 52 in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 82 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday. Thirty-six (36) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 23 new cases. Green Lake County had 10 new cases and 1 death, Waupaca County had 12 new cases, and Waushara County reported 8 new coronavirus cases.
