3/30/22 Flags In FDL County Allowed To Fly At Half Staff In Honor Of County Executive Allen Buechel

Governor Tony Evers has issued an executive order allowing United States and state of Wisconsin flags to be flown at half-staff in Fond du Lac County and City of Fond du Lac facilities as a sign of respect for the passing of Fond du Lac County Executive Allen Buechel. Flags will be allowed to fly at half-staff from Friday morning through the end of day Saturday.

Visitation and funeral services for Allen Buechel will be held at the Holy Family Church in Fond du Lac this Friday and Saturday. On Friday visitation is from 3 to 7 pm and again Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 am. The funeral mass will be at 11 am Saturday with burial at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in St. Peter following the mass. The Sippel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
