The number of new COVID-19 cases and 7-day rolling average may be leveling off. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services Tuesday reported 367 new cases as the 7-day rolling average for new cases dropped to 435. But the news wasn’t all encouraging as 44 more deaths were reported to the DHS with 29 of those happening over the past 30 days. Forty-two hospitalizations were reported to the DHS. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 345 people are hospitalized across the state with COVID-19 and 58 of those patients are in intensive care units.
Winnebago County Tuesday reported 8 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death. Six new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County reported 2 new cases and 1 death. Green Lake and Waushara counties each had 1 new case and Waupaca County had 3 new cases of the coronavirus.
