3/1/22 Bicyclist Struck By Vehicle In The Town Of Rosendale

A 56-year-old Pickett woman riding her bicycle north on Fond du Lac County Highway M along the shoulder of the northbound lane Monday afternoon was struck by a passing vehicle’s passenger side mirror. Sheriff’s officials say the contact caused the woman to fall off her bike. She was taken to the Ripon Medical Center and was then flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries. She was not wearing a helmet. A 32-year-old Oshkosh man was driving the vehicle that struck her. The County’s Communications Center got a 911 call about the accident in the Town of Rosendale at 5:18 pm Monday.
