2/20/22 Accident Victim Found Dead Less Than A Mile From His Vehicle

Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say a 32-year-old Hustisford man was found dead less than a mile away from his crashed vehicle Friday afternoon. When a deputy found an unoccupied vehicle in a farm field by County Highway DJ near Shady Lane in the Town of Oak Grove at 6:46 Friday morning it had sustained minor but disabling damage. Deputies tried to contact the registered owner at his residence, but no one was home. At 3:20 pm a resident reported finding the man lying on the ground about two-thirds of a mile from the crash site. He was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was the registered owner of the vehicle involved in the crash.
