Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 1,602 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday as the 7-day rolling average fell to 1,629 daily cases. That is the lowest 7-day average since September. Seventeen (17) deaths were also reported which may be the lowest daily total reported to the state since November 19th. The DHS also reported 55 hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 814 people are hospitalized across the state with the coronavirus with 161 in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 52 new COVID-19 cases yesterday. Forty-one (41) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 35 new cases and 4 deaths. Green Lake County had 11 new cases, Waupaca County had 10 new cases, and Waushara County had 3 new cases of the coronavirus.
