2/1/22 Fire Destroys Shed In The Town Of FDL

Fire destroyed a shed at N5221 Fond du Lac County Highway V in the Town of Fond du Lac early Tuesday morning. The County’s Dispatch Center got a call from a passerby who saw flames and smoke coming from the shed just before 2:30 am. When deputies arrived the blaze had consumed most of the shed. The Town of Fond du Lac Fire Department was able to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to other structures. The owner, Jeffrey Brown, told deputies there had been 2 goats and 6 ducks inside of the building. They perished in the fire. The cause of the fire is not considered suspicious in nature. The probable cause is electric. There were heated water dishes and a heat-lamp inside the building.
