Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 5,257 new COVID-19 cases Monday, but with 27,704 new cases since last Friday the 7-day rolling average for new cases zoomed to an all-time high of 9,063 cases per day. Sixty-three more people died of the coronavirus since last Friday putting the 7-day rolling average for deaths at 21 lives lost per day. Also since Friday 429 more people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association yesterday said there are 2,259 COVID patients in the 136 hospitals across the state with 472 of those patients in intensive care units.

Winnebago County Monday reported 844 new COVID-19 cases. Seven-hundred and fifty-eight (758) new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County since last Friday and Dodge County had 185 new cases and 1 death. Green Lake County recorded 54 new cases, Waupaca County had 168 new cases, and Waushara County reported 25 new coronavirus cases.
