Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says after a slow holiday weekend 5,758 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Tuesday. The 7-day rolling average for new cases now stands at 3,622. The 7-day average for COVID deaths is 24 and today the state will likely pass the 10,000 mark for total deaths during the pandemic. It currently has 9,980. The Wisconsin Hospital Association Tuesday reported 1,672 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 405 of those patients in intensive care units.
Winnebago County Tuesday reported 122 new cases and 1 death. Seventy (70) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 165 new cases. Green Lake County reported 32 new cases and 1 death, Waupaca County had 42 new cases and Waushara County had 6 new cases of the coronavirus.
