Tik Tok School Threat Challenge Issued For Today

Law Enforcement agencies and school districts across the nation are notifying parents about a Tik Tok “School Threat Challenge.” It has spread through social media, encouraging students of all ages to engage in dangerous, threatening, violent, or other inappropriate and oftentimes illegal behavior at school today. Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says you may notice an increased law enforcement presence around schools although there has been no specific threat in the county. He urges parents, to encourage their children to notify a teacher, school resource officer, or other staff member if they become aware of any threatening or dangerous act made by another student. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt echoes those comments saying there are no known threats in Dodge County.
