Two Fond du Lac teens are facing charges after leading a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy on a high-speed chase early Sunday morning in the Town of Taycheedah. The deputy tried to pull the speeding vehicle over on Winnebago Drive at Luco Road for going more than 45 miles an hour over the speed limit. But the vehicle sped up and continued for another 2 miles before pulling over. The passenger fled on foot. The driver, a 17-year-old Fond du Lac man, is facing felony eluding and driving under the influence charges and was cited for marijuana possession and speeding. The passenger, a 17-year-old Fond du Lac man, was contacted at his residence and is being charged with obstructing an officer and was cited for underage drinking. No one was injured during the pursuit and there was no property damage.
