Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services Wednesday reported another age group reached a milestone in vaccination for the COVID-19 virus. The department says 50 percent of 12 to 15 year olds in the state have started the vaccination process. Meanwhile nearly 47 percent of that group has completed the series of shots needed or the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccination. The DHS also reported 4,534 new cases, 33 deaths, and 234 hospitalizations due to the coronavirus.

Winnebago County confirmed 84 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday. One hundred and thirty (130) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and 87 new cases in Dodge County. Green Lake County had 13 new cases and Waupaca County had 53 new cases and 4 deaths reaching 150 total lives lost during the pandemic. Ten new cases of the coronavirus were reported in Waushara County.
