The state’s Department of Health Services Tuesday reported 4,264 new COVID-19 cases, which increased the 7 day rolling average for new cases to 3,148. That’s up from Monday’s average of 3,120. The agency also reported that 50 percent of all 18 to 24 year olds have completed the two-dose series of vaccine making it the seventh age group to reach that level. Thirty-nine deaths and 188 new hospitalizations were also reported.
Winnebago County reported 67 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and 5 deaths. Thirty-five new cases and two deaths were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 54 new cases. Green Lake County and Waushara County both had 16 new cases and Waupaca County had 32 new cases.
