Just a few days shy of Thanksgiving Wisconsin’s 7-day rolling average for new COVID-19 cases continues to rise. Monday the state’s Department of Health Services reported the average increased to 3,120 new cases a day up from Friday’s average of 3,033 new cases, which was the first time the average got above the 3,000 mark since last December 19th.  Monday the state reported 1,674 new cases and 12 more deaths. In addition 296 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19.

Winnebago County Monday reported 275 new COVID-19 cases. Since last Friday Fond du Lac County has had 181 new cases moving it past 18,000 total cases with 18,109. Dodge County got to 16,000 total cases with177 new cases and 2 deaths and Green Lake County had 19 new cases. Waupaca County recorded 64 new cases and 1 death and Waushara County had 11 new cases.
