Wisconsin had 4,968 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend including 1,197 in the latest batch reported Monday. The state also saw 100 deaths added to its total, 30 since last Friday. The total number of lives lost during the pandemic in Wisconsin has reached 8,627. The state’s Department of Health Services also reported 260 more hospitalizations since Friday.
Winnebago County Monday reported 164 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death as it surpassed 24,000 total cases and has had 24,025 cases since the health crisis began. Fond du Lac County recorded 138 new cases since last Friday and Dodge County had 122 new cases and 1 death in its latest report. Green Lake County had 3 new cases and 1 death, Waupaca County had 29 new cases and 1 death, and Waushara County reported 11 new cases of the coronavirus.
