Wisconsin passed another grim milestone in the pandemic yesterday with 34 more deaths announced pushing it past 8,500 total deaths during the health crisis. The state has seen 8,529 lives lost to COVID-19. On a global scale more than 5 million people have died of the coronavirus. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services Tuesday also announced 2,779 new cases and 112 hospitalizations since Friday.
Winnebago County reported 58 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and 1 death. Fifty-two new cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 23 new cases. Green Lake County reported 14 new cases as it pushed past 2,500 total cases with 2,508. Waupaca County recorded 29 new cases and Waushara County had 15 new cases and 1 death.
