A Silver Alert has been cancelled for a Waushara County woman who had been reported missing. The Wisconsin Department of Justice and Waushara County Sheriff’s Office issued a statewide alert about 84-year-old Ruth Young of Pine River late Saturday night. Her license plate was reported for erratic driving near Jackson and Church Streets in Oshkosh about 11:10 Saturday night. At 1:11 Sunday morning she was reported found safe. Authorities expressed their gratitude to all of those who shared information about her when she was missing.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Waushara County woman. The Wisconsin Department of Justice and Waushara County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statewide alert about 84-year-old Ruth Young of Pine River. She is white, 5 foot 1 inches tall, weighs 150 to 160 pounds, has Brown eyes and Grey hair. She was wearing a Red/Black multi-colored hand knitted short sleeve sweater, dark slacks, off white tennis shoes, necklace with green stone, and glasses. She was last seen near Jackson Street and Church Street in Oshkosh at 11:10 Saturday night. Ruth drives a 2012 Gold Chevrolet Cruze with Wisconsin license plate 569WBM. Anyone with information about her is asked to call the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office at 920-787-3321.
