FDL Man And Woman Charged For Endangering Baby

23 October 2021 News

A Fond du Lac man and woman involved in a car crash that set off a search for the man and his infant daughter have been charged for endangering the safety of that four-month-old. Twenty-four-year-old Jordan Smack and 21-year-old Cambri Sippel both have been charged with being party to the crime of first degree recklessly endangering safety. In addition Smack is charged with bail jumping and Sippel with possession of drug paraphernalia. After the crash on Brown Road near Townline Road on October 14th Smack took his daughter Serenity and the two spent the night in the woods, hitchhiking back home the following morning. Sippel managed to get the car out of the ditch and went back to Fond du Lac. Unable to reach Smack by cell phone she called the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Communications Center setting off an intensive search for Smack and his daughter. Both Smack and Sippel were on probation at the time. They made their initial court appearances Friday. Bond was set at $500 cash each.
