Dodge County Sheriffs Office Releases Name In Fatal Motorcycle Accident

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the rural Beaver Dam man killed in a motorcycle accident on South Center Road in the Town of Beaver Dam last Sunday morning. Daniel Chase was heading south on the road when he failed to negotiate a curve when his bike entered the ditch and he was thrown from it. Chase wasn’t wearing a helmet and died at the scene. Excessive speed and alcohol impairment are believed to be possible factors in the crash. The Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at 5 am last Sunday after getting a report about a motorcycle in the ditch with a man nearby with no signs of life.
