Semis Collide In Green Lake County Accident

Two semi-trucks were involved in a collision at a stop sign on Green Lake County Highway AW at the intersection of State Highway 73 Wednesday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say a Peterbilt tractor trailer was stopped at the stop sign getting ready to turn south onto Highway 73 when it was struck from behind by a Volvo tractor trailer. Both semis went through the intersection coming to rest on the side of the road. The driver of the Volvo semi was taken to Waupun Memorial Hospital by the Southern Green Lake County Ambulance Service. The crash happened at about 2:30 pm. State Highway 73 was closed for two hours.
