County Supervisor Pushed Out Of Running By Redrawing Of District Boundaries

Brooke Hills, who represents District 16 in the village of North Fond du Lac, also sits on the county’s reapportionment committee. She pointed out that by approving the plan redrawing district’s lines her home would be pushed about 50 feet into the District 4 supervisory district, which is currently represented by Michael Will who also lives in the village. County Board Chairperson Marty Farrell said when the reapportionment committee met in July it set 10 criteria for the plan and protecting an incumbent supervisor was the lowest of those priorities. The final plan will be adopted at the County Board’s November 2nd meeting.
